The Seed Fund announces 2015 funding categories

The Seed Fund, an Australian music and arts association, has announced the 2015 grant categories.

Categories include It’s All About The Song, granting $3500 to three performing and recording artists; Management Workshop which will be open to managers working with artist in their establishment phase; and Song Cycles Inbound, which offers urban music professionals the chance to travel to Australian Indigenous community festivals and seek out new talent.

The Support For The Asylum Seekers Resource Centre Music Group is a new initiative born through partnership with the ASRC. Masterclasses and equipment to the tune of $8,000 will be provided to the ASRC Music group.

The Seed Fund was founded by Australian musician John Butler, and is in its 11th year of operation.
