Brian O’Keefe, O’Keefe & Partners founder and third sector visionary, has dedicated over 40 years of his life to advancing philanthropy in Australia and overseas. After such a distinguished career, we are so very proud to congratulate Brian on his admission as a Fellow Emeritus of the Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA).
This professional honour is bestowed upon members of the FIA following intense review and reflection by Brian’s peers within the fundraising industry. In the words of his nominees, Brian has been one of the most influential figures in the Australian fundraising sector and his leadership in the evolution of fundraising practice in Australia has been significant.
Brian’s commitment to philanthropy, passion and performance is evident in everything we do at OKP and is the reason we have been so successful. As a company we continue to benefit from his incredible insight and focus beyond the horizon. Perhaps his most valuable legacy being Giving Trends, a research initiative that continues to provide benchmark data and industry insights to professionals in the field.
For Brian, philanthropy is far more than a career – it is something that has touched every aspect of his life. He believes strongly in the importance of “giving back” and actively supports a range of charities, not for profit and community organisations. In his retirement, Brian is busier than ever volunteering his extensive expertise and mentoring the next generation of fundraisers.
The team at OKP are all incredibly proud of Brian and his career achievements. If you would like to join us in congratulating him on his admission as a Fellow Emeritus of the FIA, please share our Facebook post or Twitter message
